Won't You Help To Sing These Songs Of Freedom

After watching I Am Legend last night, and its heavily Bob Marley influenced soundtrack I was reminded about a Bob Marley cover I'd heard on Radio 4 a little while ago.

A few minutes on The Hype Machine and I managed to find it.

Two sadly lost legends of modern music cover arguably Bob Marley's (and regae music in general's) finest moment.

The legend goes that when asked "Don't you thinka rastafarian line such as 'Oh pirates, yes they rob I' is a little odd to be sung by a white man?" Johnny Cash replied with "And you suggest I change the line? I can't change that! Bob Marley wrote that!"
